The NYS Nurserymen's Foundation is a 501c(3) registered charitable organization. The Foundation funds many important educational and research programs associated with the green industry in New York State.

Supported programs include scholarships, educational materials for use by the Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional Program (sponsored by the New York State Nursery and Landscape Association), and the production of Arbor Day posters and bookmarks for distribution to libraries, elementary schools and public outlets across New York.

Auction

The primary fundraiser for the Nurserymen's Foundation is the Annual Reception and Auction.  The 2012 Auction was held on October 24, 2012 at the Downtown Ithaca Holiday Inn during NYSNLA's Leadership Forum.  Over $7,500 was raised to support scholarships and educational initiatives within the green industry.
